I love LOVE love it. I play it every day lol, most Ive ever played a demo.
I went out and put about $24 on it earlier, so Ill pay it off when I get paid again.
It made me get some of my old Star Wars games out again. KoTOR and Battlefront. I wish I still had KoTOR 2 and Battlefront 2.
Here's to hoping for a Battlefront 3 :)
OK, I played the Force Unleashed Demo, thought it was awesome. What are you impressions from playing it. I personally thought the targeting system was a bit off, but that was OK, because you can throw pretty much anything. Your comments?pcgamer522
i thought the targetting system was a bit off as well, and along with some other stuff i wish i can do myself but couldn't, but other than that i love the demo, i just finished played it right now.. lol the more i play it the more i want it... especially aftering watching that dev walkthrough or sumtin at GT
i wish i can cut a door open or sumtin with my lightsaber instead of having to use the force to open it all the time... lol
haha, i knew there would be a thread like this. I just got the demo and beat it on medium. cant quite beat it on hard yet, but im still getting a hang of the controls. so far its a pretty fun game. i hope the full version is just as good. but as usual i will wait til the review comes out before i buy. the too human demo was fun, but that game ended up being a flop.....Talldude80Its easy on all the difficulties untill you get to the damn AT-ST  That thing kicked my ass on Hard lol.
And yeah, I downloaded the TH demo and it sucked. I could get to the really big machine and then that kicked my ass.
The targeting system is a tiny bit clunky, I agree. But the technology it offers is impressive. People forget things like; you'll never do the same thing twice, there's so many unlocks etc. People play the demo then go "I think the game will have no replay value". I'm not sure where they're getting this from. Anyway, to me, it felt like a starwars themed god of war - which is a win imo.kieran88Yeah, Euphoria is awesome. I thought it was decent in GTA4 but I love it in TFU. I like dragging a person to another person using Grip and have one of them grab the other and throw them both xD

I agree. And for just being a short demo, its got alot of replay value already. I've played it like 6-7 times now and its still fun.

lol me too (played it a bunch of times). Another thing; People saying it's 'too easy' obviously don't realise they're playing the beginning of the game, with the highest difficulty locked, lol.
Well, first time i played it i didnt like, i thought it very simple and i was having difficults with the control, i was used to play ninja gaiden so every time i want to dash i blocked, but i was really impressided with the movie at the end, hehe...
but i played it again and i started to get the essence of the game, when you start to combine the lightsaber with the force power and the lightning power you really start to realize what the game is about... i get used to the controls and im loving the game, will buy it for sure, im really think that this game can be one of the best star wars games ever, and the plote of the game seens really good...
Graphically, the game is superb...
I just thought that the camera moves very slowly, i changed it to full speed but its didnt get much better... the lock system is not very usefull and kind of hard to use...
I just hope you can play as Darth Vader more than just one time, and i wanna see how will be jedi to jedi battles, and some cool finishing moves, i hope it has a good viarity and uses a lot of creativity

yeah. I tried hard and I got my ass kicked after the first door. Thing is after you go into a fight you cant stop killing. Cause if you do you'll die. The only way to stay alive is to wreck havoc like a crazy person. In other words, its freaking awesome.

Finally, someone who thinks like I do xD Violence, we all love violence.I was impressed by how short it was, truly that's the shortest demo I've ever played.
I loved the combat, it wasn't DMC but it was great, the force powers feel good and they executed the grabs in a great way, it feels really good to play and I only wish the demo was longer, my dislikes were how when you damaged a trooper nothing really happend to him, I mean his bar just went smaller, there was no indication on his body that he was hurt, now I know it's a T rated game and I'm not expecting it to be bloody I don't want it to be, I just want the guy to show that they've been hit by a damn light saber, I mean when you slash the walls there's signs that they were damaged, why not on the enemies? Other than that I hope they don't rely on you force pushing doors open too much, kinda annoying.
If anyone hasn't tried it yet; change the force grip to toggle mode - you can then pick things up and launch them in the direction you're aiming by pressing RT again, much much quicker. (forget force push other than for knocking guys down)kieran88
That's what I do. I usually pick an object up, place it over an enemy and then I flick the right stick down so it crushes him. Haven't tried the toggle mode though.

just makes it a tiny bit easier to move thing about when you don't have to hold down RT. Crushing them by that method is awesome tho :D (especialy that lift that comes up full of guys, crush them with a tie fighter lol.)
 I know right. I wish they had some limbs flying!I was impressed by how short it was, truly that's the shortest demo I've ever played.

McNulty5
But like you said, its T rated so its fine
Wow, didn't expect this thread to be so active. Anyway, for those of you who had trouble on the hard setting: If you go in a start swinging your saber, you WILL die. I found it easiest (but don't get me wrong it was still hard) to throw stuff at them from afar. And that was the only way I could beat the AT-ST at the end. On the other setting, you can do pretty much anything and not die. Keep posting!pcgamer522I didnt have much trouble to be honest.
I used alot of XYB combos and went in swinging and came out alive. I did almost die once though
And for the AT-ST at the end, all I did was throw a couple things at him, kill the stormtroopers and then jump infront of him and do Force Lightening and keep swinging. Very easy IMO.
before I played the demo, I really didn't know how the game was gonna be. but once I played it.....!mit was awesome!!!!! I wasn't sure on getting it before, but now I'm REALLY gonna get it! probably pre-order it within a few days! :Dorb_03_2006Yeah man. I always hoped it would be awesome but I did have my doubts because of other Star Wars games (Any beside's KOTOR1-2 and Battlefront 1-2) but I love it. I have $24 on it xD
