FPS what do you want to see ?

i for one love world war two shooters, the france and normandy thing i would sell all my games to get an allied assault game with a big community on the xbox lol world at war was ok but i just prefer the EU campaign .

So where would you like to see fps games set present past or future? any specific war or time period

what about storys do you wana see a true story be playing the part of a real soldier of a real platoon fighting through france or your war through NAM lol

or do you want to be playing a guy trying to rescue his family or on a path of vengence?

although its 360 forum did u not play allied assault or original cod on pc that was what fps was about lol

Many people forget that war but it was one of the most brutal wars out there.

I would love for one to come out with a longer, meatier, more involved sp campaign.

Something interesting like Vietnam or WWI or countless other battles from history.

I voted a good vengeance story remembering The Darkness.

Meh... They're all fairly cliche. I prefer more creative settings, like Rapture from Bioshock.

Yeah, because the Americans and Brits were damn shining heroes (look at: any war Americans were in. They're always a-holes - and I'm not saying that every soldier is "bad"). Sure, the Russians raped and pillaged , but the presence of the Russian army in the war is probably the only reason the Allies won.

I think it's ironic that people are clamoring for another good WWII shooter, when just a couple of years ago, people were complaining that the market was way too flooded with WWII games. And for good reason. Now that the game devs have decided to give the WWII era a rest, there seems to be a new desire for games to return there.DJ_Magneto

D-Day was a horrible, tactical failure - it's beyond me why games and movies focus so much on it (Okay, it's not - it was the U.S's entry into the war, after all). I'd like to see more of the Stalingrad battle and the Russian campaign.

Yeah, I played that mission. The russian missions were the best in that game, IMO. But still, I want a game with the whole campaign focusing on the Russian invasion.

Another idea would be to play as the Nazi's defending the homeland, but I guess that wouldn't be seen as politically correct.

What i want is a full on futuristic shooter with star wars style laser beams shooting around the place, but still based some what in reality. basically a high quality fps like bad comp 2 or even cod but with lasers, i really like lasers, who wants a pistol when you can have a laser pistol.

Perfect Dark... With a better joanna model, classic maps and more fledged out multiplayer. Perhaps with some 3rd person aspects(in certain parts), retain here original voice and some more weapons.
