someone tell me y FPS are so great to the mass public, they get rated so high on average and it seems like whatever happens with them they get super ratings. The game play to me in a FPS is all the same its jus a hand on the screen with a gun, the only things that changes on these games are the location and the weapons but are all parallel with each other somehow, someway. the only one i ever felt was COD4 even then it is short lived with me i played other ones and i jus dont understand y so many ppl go crazy over these type of games. Is it because u can pull the trigger in a game or what? Im good at them but i jus don't have any fun. I want to hear for my own anaylsis y these games are so appealing to ppl, and hopefully u guys can list some reason for a gamer who is obviously in the minority.

Because they're great? What makes RPG, Action-Adventure, Simulations, racing, and all other genres so great? Or is your real question, why are there so many FPS games out? Gee, I dont know. They're quite popular and serves for great multiplayer action online. I certainly wish there were more JRPGs and other RPGs out. So now, 70% of my collection are FPS, or third-person shooters, lol. The only RPG I own is Mass Effect. I'm looking to get Lost Odyssey next month, it should be awesome.

Except for BioShock though. This game had me scrambling for first aid kits, ammo, I was dying left and right, lol. I know I might suck at it, but I'm a good gamer overall. I have never seen a game like BioShock. hehe

how do u run out of ammo? i think thats the one problem with the game, not since the start of the game (on hard) have i been hard pressed to find ammo, first aid kits or hypos, even if i did, i have never been strapped for cash, in fact i find myself spending it on stuff i dont really need just so i dont forget where the extra money is

All I ever did was just buy ammo and slots and that's it.
