thats good that you can get 5 games fore that price, but the game i would most like to play out of those is S.TA.L.K.E.R looks fun as hell

Doesnt it just? havent played it yet...prob gonna have to tone down the settings though coz me 3d card is crap. I just got 2gb of ram for me laptop so will need to put that in to make it run half decent. Stalker for those of you that dont know--- is an open world (like GTA) FPS/survival horror game for the PC....looks really good.

virtua tennis is a great game, its the first tennis game that I have really been able to get into to.

Sweet man... have fun with your games! I just got STALKER myself and can't wait to get a chance to play it :). Virtua Tennis also seems fun. When I get some more money I may have to pick that up myself too.

Mind you...dont feel too gutted...i wont be able to play it on full settings--medium at best...mind you, i just bought 2gb ram, hopefully the right chips!!! So that might help with my experience a bit...

The only game out of that list that appeals to me is Stalker, but hey, more power to you. Honestly, I found buying games in big bundles isn't a great idea. Normally you end up trying them out and sticking with 1 or 2 while the others collect dust, you may or may not ever go back to the other ones.

that is obviously your personal experience...but i paid £140 for all of em so all of the mother truckers are gonna get played!!

Anyway, I heard STALKER requires an incredible PC to run (with max settings) - or the FPS drops continuously. Be sure to turn off some lighting/shadowing effects! (so I've heard)

i envy you, i'm craving to play those 4 360 games, BL Cricket most of all pitty that it's impossible to get on the US. Americans got so many pro sports and no cricket =(

Yesterday i bought 4 360 games and 1 pc game....making my total for games at home to 40 odd.
I bought: Virtua tennis 3, Brian lara cricket, NBA homecourt, ICON and STALKER for the PC!! All totalled to £140. My GF owns a games shop so that helped out a bit :D
Cant wait for tonight so i can play all 5 of em!!!
Anyone else get any of the above? Thoughts?

never heard of the Brian Lara cricket, but NBA: HC looked good in the demo, Icon was good i rented it though (not much for fighting games my self), haven't heard/read much of Stalker and tennis just doesn't fit my bill. but the biggest congrats is to scoring the girl who works for a game store :D

i love the line "my girlfriend owns a gameshop". That is so sweet. I mean hearing someone say "my girlfriend loves to play video games", or better yet, "my girlfriend kicked my a** in ...", is so hot.

my friend is married to a pretty cute japanese girl, and he has told me countless times how she kicks butt in most first person shooter games and tends to finish them on the hardest settings. THAT'S HOT!!!

funny thing is that he says it in a bummed out voice because he doesn't get as much time playing the games he wants to play since she's on the computer all the time.

All I can say is that I think he is one lucky dude...Oh, and she makes more money and is pretty much responsible for buying the house that they live in.

Im very happy with what I have for the weekend. Castlevania SOTN, TMNT 1989 Arcade, and a free Contra courtesy of the Old Spice Challenge. And to think ,I only have to spend $20 for 1600 MP points.

Wow--alot of responses whilst i have been busy rubbing these games over ma balls!!lol. not really. But i have now played all 5 and this is what ill say. Cricket-- Great fun online but can get tedious at the same time VT3-- overall great fun and great online--im 105 in the worldwide rankings now :( NBA-- Great game---all the tricks n stuff make this a really addictive game Icon -- This game is a pile of dog crap--dont get me wrong, it was ok to start off with. They had a really great concept here but didnt do much with it. It gets really boring and im going to throw it at my girlfriends head and demand my £ back :D:P STALKER-- This game is great. With headphones and in the dark it truly another experience altogether. Free roaming andgetting the crap scared outta you is the best combination ever!! However--i am a little dissapointed that i have to play on low settings because my 3d card is about as handy as a hammer without any nails :D But yea--great game. I was gonna start another thread for the following question m=but meh -- DO you guys think i should get a PS3 or a custom built PC gaming monster. PC gaming monster==£840 PS3= £500 with a game or thereabouts. I wanted a monster PC for games like stalker to be able to get the most out of the game and not resort to low settings--that is the most annoying freaking thing in the world, to have a great game like this at your fingertips and to only be able to play it like it was a ps2 game...sucks big time!! Thoughts?
