Game of the Year 2009

Any predictions? I know clearly the year JUST started and we don't have even a quarter of the list of games that are coming out, but any ideas? Personally I'd have to go with either Resident Evil 5 or Bioshock 2... but than again it's rumored that Assassin's Creed 2 is coming out in the spring, lol, i just don't know

Haha, Halo Wars? Prototype? Thats some odd predictions. Halo Wars will be just another RTS dumbed down for consoles, dont think an RTS will ever with console GOTY. Prototype could surprise everyone i guess, but its unlikely to win GOTY even if its great.

Um way too early... If Mass effect 2 comes out or a great JRPG those will be my choices at least.craigalan23

This is a really early time to start such a thread but nevertheless I really have no idea, Killzone 2 may be a contender, F.E.A.R 2? CoD: Modern Warfare 2 also looks like it'll be up there with 'em. But if i had to choose i'd say God of War III.

1) Uncharted 2 - 10/10

2) Dragon Age Origins - 9.5/10

3) Assassin's Creed II - 9.5/10

4) Modern Warfare 2 - 9.5/10

5) GTA Expansion - 9/10
