Lol, you make me laugh...but the sad thing is, knowing the Gamespot editors it will probably win GOTY.

I think Bioshock, Call of Duty 4, the Orange Box, and Assassin's Creed are all more deserving then Halo.

I think Bioshock, Call of Duty 4, the Orange Box, and Assassin's Creed are all more deserving then Halo.

I WAS NOT VERY HAPPY WITH THAT GAME . I WOULD TAKE BIOSHOCK ,SKATE, COD4,MASS EFFECT,

mass effect in my opinion. bioshock is probably my second choiceclarkportmanken

ill be happy with any one of the great games that have come out: bioshock, cod4, mass effect, OB

although if halo 3 got it, the remaining respect i have for gamespot would go down the drain

my vote would go to Bioshock~! I've been gaming since Atari and it's one of the best I've ever played. I wouldn't be disapointed if COD4 or Halo3 won GOTY though..... both were extraordinary games.

honarable mention goes to Orange Box, Forza, and Mass Effect. I liked Creed, but imo, it's not the same caliber of any of the titlesi mention above.

dunno lol , havent played any sport games this year that was good , SMVR08 is disappointing

best Action game:

AC even all the bad things, its still the best 3ps this year

best FPS:

COD4 with the short SP , its the best FPS this year , along with bioshock

best Adventure game:

Naruto , even though there arent alot of games in this genres, the game was a good one, not perfect, but fun even for a non anime\naruto fan , number two , is overlord

best fighting game:

VF5 , cuz there nothing else normal this year , DJ:I was bad

best racing game:

Forza 2 , second place PGR4

arcade likegame of the year:

the simpsons

worst game of the year:

Stranglehold

second place:

Blacksite:Area 51 (short , repetetive , not enough weapons , not varied enough)

3rd place:

Kane and Lynch (nothing much to say , a huge letdown )

Best overall game of the year:

Mass Effect

after playing 90% of the games that came out this year , i can say it was a letdown overall , most of the games never deliverd the hype and antisipation for a good title , it came as a bad one , this year perhaps was changed for good when developers realised they need to put more effort to the games then "mediocore" in last gen .

It will probably be Halo 3 consdering all of the hype/anticipation but other than it I would think Bioshock has the best shot...

Count Assassin's creed out then i assume.

But i hear that cod4 and bioshock are both short

so i go halo 3
