Well for me, it's either Gears of War, or CoD4. I have a 42' Samsung which is amazing, but it's toguh between the two.
Halo 3 will never win, and for all I care, Halo 3 can go shoot itself in its ******* head.
But I go with CoD4.
MC and Arbiter was the only thing in the game with the super high quality graphics, once you started to look at the other models you could tell the art team got sick of trying to stay with the standard they started with on the chief. Such as the obviously ridged headlines of all the human NPC'sWell for me, it's either Gears of War, or CoD4. I have a 42' Samsung which is amazing, but it's toguh between the two.

Definitely Gears of War, Mass Effect, and then BioShock. Assassin's Creed is a worthy mention. I'd have to agree with the Master Chief and Arbiter having excellent character models but all the other NPCs looked terrible. Halo 3 had excellent lighting effects but the majority of the game was unsightly, especially the hideous low textures and detail in the environment. One of the most inconsistent graphical games out there. Not to mention, it wasnt even in 720p. Bungie, shame on you!
Call of Duty 4 looks better than your average game but it had a lot of jaggies. More than I could stand. Like Halo 3, it wasnt in 720p. It's another game that had somewhat of inconsistent graphics. The ghillie mission looked absolutely amazing while the start of the game (tutorial part) was hard to stomach. Overall, I would say that COD4 looks very good but not excellent. If games would take advantage of 720p and up, we would see more breathtaking video games. Unfortunately, developers claim they have to cut back on visuals for performance which I think is the lamest and easiest excuse to come up with. All I have to say is Gears of War, Mass Effect, or BioShock and that proves that they're all half-assing.
