Gamerpoints lost

My friend just joined live a couple of hours ago, and he lost all of his gamerpoints when he signed up (over 2000 points). Anyone know how to get them back?

Thats what i thought, but its the same account that he had the gamerpoints on, so i don't know what happened

I doubt it, but if that's really true it's a glitch then. Nothing to do about it and no way to get them back. Yeah, re-achieving them.
