Gamers Age? How old are you guys?

I just turned 29 a month ago, I'm married and have 2 lil girls, a 5yr old and a 9mo. old. I love playing video games but not a serious gamer given my other responsibilities. I don't like feeling like im an old dude playing games, but would feel better to know theres other guys my age playing with youngsters online and not feel like a total tool.

Silly question I know, but still worth asking.

I don't usually make a point of replying to the 'age' threads, because they make me feel old too. lol

But since I can relate to what you're saying, I figured I'd reply and let you know that your not the only 'geezer' on here. I'm 27, been a gamer all my life, and do consider myself a 'hardcore' or 'avid' gamer. I just don't think that I'd ever get too old for video games, and screw it if I do. I'll still be playing them.

Im 28 and you cant feel bad if you thinkn about it is our generation you know, we were there when the NES and such hit the market and were little kids at that time, so it only makes sense for us to still be playing seeing where we have watched games come from the nes to the xbox 360/ps3 era.

Ah dude, thanx guys, I mean I don't necessarely feel old, but with all my responsibilities like mortgage, wife, kids and career, well gaming takes a back seat. I started playing atari when it was on its whay out, then nintendo (first generation) then sega genesis, etc...... so I've been around gaming my whole life, but I guess Im not the only veteran here lol, and that makes me feel good.

About to be 28. We kind of are the target demographic, being that we grew up with the nes and have disposable income to spend on games. But really, each year that passes I have less and less time to play b/c of more work and responsibilities. Gotta love corporate America. I'll probably be a gamer for a long time though. Also, I work with a lot of people 21-35 that play are become interested b/c of games like Guitar Hero. They are more closet case about it. Not sure why.

I am 25 married and I dont think you ever to old to play games unless it effects time you spend with your children and spouse.

But my question is I have been a gamer since the nes. I am now finding myself having a hard time getting excited about games anymore. It seems like in the 3d generation has not really changed in gameplay and alot of the games are alot alike to a certain extent. anybody else feel this way.
