Gaming length in game sessions is not much of a problem for one but the quantity of games one is exposed to (if addicted) beyond ones budget. I found leaving console gamings content to steam PC gaming eased my addiction syndrom with better sale offers and without buying games twice like disc then games on demand for example. I wouldn't dream of disowning my 360 until I saw the results of upgrading my pc where others understandably find better genre preference adversely.
How and why did you bring up a forum topic from 2 years ago? How did you even go about finding this?
It used to be 1-3, but since I got layed off from work it has become alot more while I wait to go back to work. Besides that most of my gaming used to get done on the weekend.
I'm not addicted. During school I rarely play weekdays, and weekends I'll try and get in at least 3-5 hours. During vacations or when I have more time, I play around 3 hours most days. It depends on what I'm playing, whether I'm busy or not, etc. I wouldn't say I'm just a casual, but I'm definitely not hardcore or anything either.
Oh, and old thread :(
I don't believe I'm addicted to gaming. I can't play for more than 2 hours before I get restless. The only times I can play for 6 hours in a row, is when I have a system link with my friends. But I usually get bored and do something else.
But sometimes I do play for 3 or 4 hours, but thats when I have breaks in between. Where I leave the game on, and might jump on facebook/msn. But I've never been addicted to gaming. And I hope I never am.
