If you're going to complain about something without suggesting how to fix it, or point out something painfully obvious, like "Sequels are often very similar to the last game in the series," then have the decency to put it in a rant format so people can at least get a laugh out of it.

and halo 3 was a great game much better than halo 2

Halo and gears are on pc and 360 (and xbox live) so there is some correlation there. Plus if you have the chance to get gears on pc, dont, because the game save system literally deletes your gamesaves.

Ok, but you can see my frustration. I've wanted to play gears for ages. And i thought instead of getting a 360, it'd be cheaper to upgrade my pc and then play gears.

Imagine if you played your favourite 360 game, and it deleted the entire game save of its own accord. You'd be well p***ed off!

Shouldn't a great game that had good single player and multiplayer receive a sequel? Cliffy B. himself said that Gears 1 was just a starting point and that Gears 2 will build on it and add tons of new content, weapons, effects, moves, etc.

I'd like to understand where you're coming from, but it's pretty hard to dislike Gears. It's an awesome game and the sequel will live up to the hype. Microsoft isn't paying for exclusive rights for nothing!

Its happened to alot of people. I made a topic about it on system wars, and there are alot of people that have had this problem. You're not the only person with gears of war (pc version) on the planet.
