I saw an ad in the Best Buy circular in Sundays paper for Gears 2 at $30? The only thing suspect was that it had an asterisk next to it saying "after price drop and savings". Has anyone else had this ad in their area and does anyone know what is meant by price drop and savings?? BTW I live in NJ

yea $30 just this week, only at Best Buy. It's on sale that's all that savings and price drop stuff means. Great deal, I just bought it used for $35 like 2 weeks ago.

Just this week only? Oh well, I know where $30 of my paycheck this week is going to. I've been waiting so long to buy it, but just didn't have the money. I have the collectors edition for GEars 1 and enjoyed every minute of it. All my friends are always online playing it, so I'm so happy it went on sale. I guess I can use money from this weeks check to purchase it and next week use money for Marvel vs. Capcom 2. Thanks everyone!!

Like he said, it's dropped to $40 everywhere and that's the permanent price drop. If you want it for $30 though that's only for this week and only at best buy.

Yeah it is just for this week i think. I just got my copy of gears of war 2 for 27 bucks at Frys about 2 weeks ago but i doubt if its the same price anymore.
