looks GTA 4 has competition for game of the year! the game looks so epic and the graphics have improved oon already stunnig graphics from the first one! i really cant wait to get this game

yeah i agree. Gears is a contender but no game this year will make a greater impact than GTA IV. gears can only improve multiplayer wise for me. they can fine tune the graphics all they want i still see the original gears of war. if anything GOTY will def be between GTA IV or MGS IV, like it or not. Fine, Gears 2 can be XBOX 360 game of the year just to make u happy neomatrix909

I'm not sure about MGS4. The third wasn't as well recieved critically as the first two. But the fourth one does look cool. My nominees:

Eh, it looks just like the first one. Human shields and chainsaw duels are nothing compared to the gameplay revolutions in GTA IV. GTA IV will get GOT and Gears 2 will be somewhere close behind. SlinkyJefferson

I think it is so funny you guys proclaming a GOTY after just a trailer.

I really hope it is good, i enjoyed the first one but there are many games this year wich hopefully will turn good :MGS4, Little big Planet, Ninja gaiden 2 etc.

Even thouhg since i believe GTA4 is one of the best games of all time i also believe it will be for any other game to achieve the same kind of impact GTA did even though i really , really hope a better game will come out. I just can;t think of nothing bettter.

yes the same in the fact in that it has new characters, new missions, better graphics, better gameplay, im surprised they didnt just re-release san andreas again

No offense, but little replay value? I have been playing it almost everyday the last two years, I know that there are different points of view, but Gears is one of the most played games on live.

Crap, I'm going to be in Africa when this comes out... this looks completely amazing. I loved the first one, but hated the online system of not being able to play ranked with your friends in a game that is all about teamwork. I really hope they fix that.

All of the Locust heard running around looks spectacular, this game will be great if its like this.

I agree as well, Gears Of War 2 looks just the same as Gears 1. Not much differences, Graphics are same, Gameplay is same, not sure about the story and so on. All i see different is that Gears 2 looks abit more brighter and smoother in my opinion.

Grand Theft Auto IV is a totally different game and is indeed going to get GOTY competing with MGS4. Its the 1st ten after a long time, same for other sites. My prediction is that Gears Of War 2 will get 9 or 9.5
