Gears of War 2 starting to piss me off.

I recently started playing online on gears after almost completing the campaing, it was fun at first when I was placed in games with people with similar skills and that I have no lag with. But now i'm a level 10, i keep getting placed in laggy games that are more often that not well mathced. And the game just stopped being fun. Does anyone else feel this?

I bought it when it first came out. I beat single player and played MP a little. But it bothered me you could'nt play split screen co-op without 2 live accounts. And it just got boring with 8 people running around with chainsaws going. I felt they failed with the MP aspect of the game personally....which lead to me getting rid of it.

I got it release day. Finished it on Insane. Tried to like the online but it was just awfull. There was only so much lag switching I can take. I traded it in for Street Fighter 4 and went back to Gears of War 1.

Played it online twice and sold it not long after, game is a mess online, would much rather play multiplayer on GeOW1.

I tried to play the online...but it would take FOREVER to find people to match me with and then when it got ready to start, it would say host connection lost or somecrap... ive never played MP.....

Yeah i totally wasted my money on it. Very frustrating because it seems as if the gameplay speed is slower!! I mean what the hell i roll faster than i can run!! That is unbelievable. Plus nothing much really changed (seriously.. just continuing the story). Well unless you're a Gears of War fan and must continue on the storyline and see what happens to dom and fenix, then there really isn't a whole lotta reason to get this game. Big let down, Gears of War was a big hit when it came out. This is a failure. But hey, plenty of other games to playKill_ZONE2

I think its a blast online. And its not a failure, its sold a few million copies.

I rented it, beat the campaign and tried online - broken multiplayer like the first one.

As a Gears 1 veteran I completely agree. A huge leap backwards in terms of sheer fun. I still keep it for horde and the excellent campaign though.
