Gears of War judgment Free!

It's one of the free games with gold this month. I'm really excited to be getting this game for free, but I still don't understand all the hate for it.

Neither do I, but ya know, the world is full of self entitled game " connoisseurs ".

There are things in the game I don´t like: no longer you can carry 2 guns and a pistol, you can only carry 2 weapons so you better choose right. When you have played GOW for so long you automatically adjust your mentality to use the D pad to cycle through your weapons, well in Judgement it doesn´t work that way, you change weapons like in most shooters, by pressing "Y" so at first you have to remember that.

There are things I did like a lot one feature is that the characters no longer have to walk all the way through to drop for one level to another, they just drop, the game also has other features.

There are more games to come the second half of April. Xbox wins this month.

Great game, not at all better than 2 or 3 but still a damn great game!

On the One though, get PoolnationsFX - a pool game. it's brilliant. very addictive. And free!!

Started playing it and got through act three I think then started playing Neverwinter MMO and hooked on it, don't know when I'll get back to Gears now. hehe

If you look at Judgement as a spinoff, and a stand alone game, it was a pretty good game. It's just when you start to compare it to any of the other games in the Gears series you realize that it's lacking, and that it has a completely different play style. Still for free it shouldn't be missed.

Gears of War Judgement is the prequel to Gears of War 1. but it is considered the weakest entry in the franchise. I found it to be a little corny in some parts. This game is centered around Deman Biard. Which is a departure from Marcus Fenix. Plus the Muliplayer was not as good as Gears 1,2,3 so this game was a let down of sorts to Gears for War fans. In part because this game in part was handled by "People can Fly"

Sort of like when 343 industries took over from Bungie with the Halo series.

I kind like Gears of War Judgement. But it is the weakest game in the Gears of War franchise.

Agreed,no comparison to the other games in the series, but still a decent addition.

But pool? ;) C'mon. Theres better things to game.

@iambatman7986 absolutely...I did that for a few days. It takes a little too long to load for a "simple" game but when it's up it's easy to spend a spare 15 minutes or 2 hours knocking a few balls down and testing yourself with the difficulty "training" lines they show. Weird thing is, with those lines turned off completely, I'm pretty much exactly as poor at this game as I am at real pool...which I think says a lot about the game.

I didn't enjoy gears of war so when i say it was free on Xbox 360 for gold members i didn't even download it
