Ok I have the budget to buy one game right now and I was contemplating on these two games. Since Fight Night 3 just reduced its price its been real tempting. Ive played both and both have their own pull. So your guy' s thoughts.
Depends on whether you enjoy FPS or sports games, whether you want to drop $30 or $60, and how many hours of gameplay you expect to get out of the game. At only $30, I'd go with Fight Night Round 3 (I just ordered the game yesterday!) and play it out, then in a week or two go buy Gears of War.
fight night's worth a go next time you're in the market for a new game, but keep waiting. it'll get cheaper. there's not much replay value in it (for me anyway)
As I already said, go for Gears of War, but if you want 1000 Achievement points pretty quickly (if maybe you are aiming for the Reward?) get Fight Night Round 3.

I would say get both because thats what I did I ended up getting them both the same day online I would probably get destroyed in gears but im the king of fight night and nba live , the point is get both they are both great games how can you choose????
You could get Gears, finish it in 6 hours or less, and then trade it and still be able to afford Fight Night and have a quality game that has the BEST replay value on the 360. Love the Fight Night.

gow for now then fnr3 later when it gets like lower price and best buy has gow 4 $50 =3 and i think gow will stay at that price 4 a long while but it is definatley worth it
imo both are extremely short.... the fnr3 took me like a week at most to best the whole thing and gears was very short aswell.... but obviously longer then fnr3.... it kinda is the goy for the 360 so id go with gears... although i have both... both are good buys...if u only have budget for one buy them used instead of new.... can prolly get both of em for the price of 1
