Gears of war...Is it really that good?

I have never played online, just single player. But gears of war(to me) is not the god like addicting game that people proclaim it to be. It is very fun. I love sawing people in half. But it gets old fairly quickly. I played twice and struggled to finish the second time.

its a great game but immature little ***** and hardcore finatics are ruining this game for everybody. Multiplayer is now a Cheat or get killed constantly experience...Single player is good but its a little shortCrystal-Rush

Ive had it a week and i still enjoy it, I see what everyone means about annoyin people online but in player matches with other people from the UK its not bad, maybe there's more annoying little kids playing over there than here, I only get annoyed with people in ranked matches.

SP isn't THAT short if you play through 2-3 times and try to collect all cog tags but you defo need live to get the most out of it. 

people who say gears is good are the people who are new to it.gears at first was my favorite game EVER!!But now it is just so boring.I only stay in a match for 2 minutes then i leave because it is so boring.I like GRAW 2 alot better than gears!And graw2 has alot more game modes.MrPatriot12

Gears of war besides halo 2 is the only other xbox game I got addicted to online.

well the multiplayer is fine and addictive IMO if u find a match without glitchers and rude people is very fun....

I'll say it.. Gears of War is better then Halo, by far!

i couldnt agree more. i got killed by a 10 year old with like 10 headshots on me omg, and even though the patch there is more cheating than ever

To be honest, outside of the single player co-op it's not all that great. It dies out pretty quickly though. I wish I would have rented it instead of buying it. Still an awesome game though all around.
