getting a 360 next week, need some questions answered.

hi. i've had my eye on the 360 for a few months now and especially after the great E3 conference I find myself convinced to buy one. but first there are a few things i need to know before it arrives so any help would be grately appreciated. :)

you don't have to answer them all for me. if you're not sure on an answer, just leave the question blank, that way I can't be mislead. ;)

so, here I go:

1. can i play xbox original games online through xbox live on a 360?

2. can a silver xbox live account be upgraded to a gold account at a later date with all the information and settings from the silver account still intact?

3. on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) how good is Halo 3?

4. on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) how good is fable II?

5. which ONE of these two games should I pre-order: a) forza motorsport 3 b) splinter cell: convictions

1. I think only some games but I think Im wrong Halo 2 can though

3. 10 (good replay value and campaign and terrific Matchmaking Forge, etc)

4.9.5 Excellent RPG but once you get powered up the game is far too easy but thats why you buy the DLC

1. not all xbox 1 games can be played, but most of them can. theres a list over at xbox.com

3. 9, Great multiplayer and co op, and the campaign is pretty fun as well

4. 8, sort of a dissapointment, but its still very good. If your looking for an RPG, i suggest Elder scrolls 4 oblivion, fallout 3, or mass effect

5. splinter cell convinctions in my opinion. but there completely opposite games. it's up to you basically.

gears of war isnt an FPS. halo 3 is better than gears of war. i suggest call of duty 4 and halo 3. both good
