GH2 or GH3

i want to get GH butwhich one should i get? I'm not very good at GH yet since ive only played a few times at my friends place and i heard GH3 is really hard compared to 2. So should i get GH2 since im only a beginner? or just go for 3?

Seriously though. I'd recommend get both anyway, but start playing GH2 first, get enough practice and move on to GH3

Go for GHIII because you will get better at the game, the graphics are better in 3, the guitar is better, and the songs are better. 3 also has LIVE mulitiplayer and the community website .

It depends on your taste in music..I would say Guitar Hero 2 has by far the better soundtrack..the music in GH3 goes farther towards the harder rock side

Also, guitar hero 2 is made by the original developers while guitar hero 3 was handed over to a different group..in my opinion, Harmonix nailed the formula in guitar hero 2..it's still quite challenging, but also fun to play.

I have beaten GH3 on expert, and I noticed something different this time around..The songs aren't fun to play..they stick less to the formula of the song, and just throw a ton of notes at you..in the previous guitar hero games, it felt more like I was actually playing the guitar tracks..I will stress that, if you want to have more fun playing, especially if you're new to the games, Guitar Hero 2 is the better choice

I would also recommend rock band over every guitar hero, if you can afford it

I persoanlly liked better songs in GH 2 and I don't like the wireless gig cause of the batteries and stufff...its a hassel for me also the GH 3 guitar is heavier due to wireless technology

But GH 3 has an online play which is like the best part....but I don't recommend that because your a noob like me and people are TOO good in that game ....you will get merc'd online

GH3 better songs imo. I'm going to get my copy after mid-terms. Don't want to fail due to too much rocking out. Lol
