SO I just got GHWT for chrismas today and every thing is great exept for one thing. The Guitar's strum bar is all f***ed up. To strum down I need to hit it really hard. It does however recognize th up strum. So I was wondering if anyone knew any quick fixs that I could do my self so that I don't have to take it back to the store.(I did get a warrenty on it but the stores will be a mad house the rest of the weekend and I dont want to have to pack it back up again)

Thanks.

Never heard of that problem before. i exchanged my first guitar cus it was squeeking like mad and the blue button kept getting stuck.

Check youtube cus there some fixes on different parts, but i'd just exchange it for a new one which you know will have no problems.

Yes because ever other button worked. How come strum down wouldn't, and strum up would?

I had the same problem with my guitar at launch. I exchanged it at the store.

Ive had my whole band kit since launch day, but just yesterday, as I was about to have about 10 to 15 people come over for our Christmas party, we were all gonna play, until my guitar wouldnt strum down, but it would read all of the buttons and the up strum, so Im going to take it back tomorrow.

i got that problem twice in 2 months but was still under waranty but i found that web site show you every steps to get your strum bar fixed if you dont mind welding a little bit. http://5frets.com/12/guitar-hero-world-tour-broken-strum-bar-repair/
