Any of you who use it I HATE YOU, also the new map pack promotes further use of the m16

also i hate martydome/juggernaut/noob tube/3 extra frags(random grenade kills from across the map}

take all of that out and it COD4 would rival CSS

I play - MP5 Silenced, Bando, Stopping Power, Steady aim. M16 doesn't bother me. Play to the strenghs of your class. If you're getting picked off, you're somewhere you shouldn't be. Take a back route? Sell the game?

As someone has already said, I'm tired of immature ****s not taking responsibility for their actions. You got killed by an m16 for wondering around like a blind fool...your fault...not the m16 user.

You'll be called a 'noob' in any game where you get a kill on someone else. Case in point...this thread, someone can't counter the M16 in COD4 so he calls people who use it a 'noob' because he can't overcome it. It's in the game, get over it or get out.

I quit playing Halo 3 because of this crap, the lil babies cried over me using the sword "You noob!," the sniper rifle "Come out and fight, instead of hiding you ******* noob!" or me using the Ghost "You ******* Ghost using ***** noob!" It's in the game, stop your *****in'...it's there, I'm gonna use it to wipe the floor with your ***!

If you're not smart enough to realize how to counteract any given weapon, then maybe the person using it isn't the 'noob'...go look in the mirror and you'll see the real 'noob.'

Then we would have a flurry of people saying things like "You shook my hand you ******* noob!"...."Shoulder patting noob ******!"..."Group hug noob ****!"...It never ends :P You can't win, no matter what you do, someone will call you a 'noob' for whatever it is that you did. Basically it boils down to, if you get a kill you're gonna be called a 'noob.'

I use my AK, and 8 out of 10 times I kill the dude with the m16. as for grenades, maybe you should start throwing them, it works.

I'm an older guy who is in a clan with more mature guys. There is one guy that freaks out whenever he sees someone using juggernaut. Some other guys kinda back him up on it. I just question why he cares so much. It is a perk. If you think the perk is cheap, than use it yourself.

As to the M16, I don't get that gun being the noob gun. I see the M4 being the noob gun. It is my favorite gun to use, but I'm trying to do the challenges and haven't used it in forever. I liked the Garande in CoD2, but don't like having to click the trigger for the M16 in CoD4 for some reason.

I can see the grenade launcher and 3 frags being a little annoying. The start of Chinatown is always lame because 20 grenades get thrown all over hell in the first 10 seconds. In fact, grenades in general can be kinda lame with martyrdom and everything.

In the end, it is all just part of the game. Everyone has access to the same stuff. You learn to deal with martyrdom and where not to hangout to get caught up in a grenade fest.

The reason why the M16 takes no skill is because one of three bullets clipping me through a wall in the foot will kill me. If I shoot one shot of an AK47 into someone's chest it will not kill them; however, if someone were to do the same thing with an M16 it would take me down.

But I do not care anymore, because I play Hardcore; a game that takes some skill. It is all about eyes and ears.

Exactly...if anything comes the closest to being cheap, it's the M4 and Juggernaut. You wont hear me complaining though, overcome it, play single player, or trade the game in.
