Left4Dead is an awesome Co-op game. You really have to rely on your teammates to deal with the onslaught of zombies.

both gears of wars and left 4 dead are perfect examples. I hear good things about cod: WAW also.

I would recommend Call of Duty: World at War. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 1 or 2. Call of Duty 3. Halo 3.
