that makes no sense, a Troika is just a mounted machine gun, and there are already machine guns

Oh come on. GRAW is very different to Gears.
The best weapons in Gears have to be picked up, GRAW gives you a choice of weapons to start with. This means Gears maps are designed the keep the best weapons in areas which are wide open, I mean, where would you stick a new, powerful weapon on Gridlock? I can't think of anywhere which won't unbalance the game.

It'd be nice if people would stop spreading these RUMORS, considering they're all untrue. If you've watched or read any of the recent interviews with Mark Rein and/or Cliffy B you'd know that they haven't leaked ANY info about the new update and don't plan on it until it comes out.

Actually, 1up Yours has hinted about the new update, and they have said it's big.
