GrifBall= Best Gametype ever!!!!!

I try to talk about grifball and it turns into a sissy fight. Seriously though, this game is ridiculously fun. I'm hoping they make a legit grifball tournament cause that would be awesome.slick360ster

So my buddy sent me a message that I had to try this different Halo 3 gametype yesterday so I gave it a shot. Turns out its Grifball, and it may be one of the most fun gametype variations of Halo I've ever played (just beating out team swat for my favorite variation). It actually takes a decent amount of strategy and team work. Just trying to gauge how everyone else felt about grifball.

Honestly, the brainless action is really fun. The most you have to know is the Hammer's maximum lethal range, and when to use the Energy Sword. But the freaking team-killers are very annoying. I mean, everyone's betrayed someone once in a while, but some people turn around and shove the Gravity Hammer down their teammates' throats.

Also, the DoubleXP weekends have really helped XP farmers... I got caught in a few matches by them... Let's just say I stuck with them for a while...

Anyway, great work, Rooster Teeth. In case you don't know the whole gag about Grifball, watch Red vs. Blue: the Blood Gultch Chronicles, somewhere the Episodes 60s, I think (Sarge: "Hell, this is almost as fun as Grifball!" (sniping Grif).)

There is a certain level of skill involved in playing grifball. Of course it isn't rocket science, but the correct timing of a hammer strike is key to quick victories. You may complain about spawn killing but it isn't difficult to kill them before they kill you. I've played plenty of games where there were those who tried to spawn camp, all you have to do kill them before they kill you. The spawns are set up to where you spawn the furthest out of danger.

Just to be clear, Lupe Fiasco should'nt even be thrown in with jokes like Chanillionaire, 50 Cent, etc.. He is one of the very few rappers who's songs are actually worth listening to. They're not just mindless mumbojumbo songs that seems to be the mainstream of hip hop today whose beat is the only thing they have to offer.

I like Chamillionare he's good and doesn't curse much... my favorite rappers = Redman, Eminem, Ludacris, Afroman, Kanye West, Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, and Lupe Fiasco...

I like rappers that have a sense of humor. But there are some HIP HOP artist(not rappers) still out there... like Jay-Z, Talib Kweli, Del the Funky Homosapien, Masta Ace, AZ, Nas, Ghostface Killah, Lupe, Kanye, and Andre 3000

yeah I understand about gettin mad about the betrayals, they can get really out of hand at times. Having really good team communication can cut down on the team killing, but it can still be a problem. It is a really fun gametype though. slick360ster

Be the same as me saying System of a down, Bloc party, Killswitch are all for emo/troubled teenagers and the music sucks even though I've heard only a few of their songs and base myself upon stereotypes.

So check your ingredients fool and look up on somethin more before you voice out your opinion, and then base it with some facts as to why you oppose it, not backing it up with stereotypes.

Although I do listen to a wide variety of music including rap, hip-hop, reggae, rock, metal, and pop. As long as the song has a good beat and is catchy enough with some solid lyrics I'll like it.

Now on to Grifball, I gotta try it out next time I play Halo 3. Especially if it takes no skill, cause I have none.
