I don't think so, well atleast for the X360. Its a multi-platform game...so its on the PS3 aswell. Maybe combined it may be higher in sales than Halo 3, but even then..I really don't know.
Most likely bigger. All the moderni(Or should I say last gen?) GTA games sold better than Halo 2, and that was the best selling Halo game in the series(right now anyway).
I don't think it'll sell as well as past GTA game, but I think theres a good chance it'll still sell better than Halo 3, which would also still make it the best selling game of this console generation.
There isnt enough units to make GTA4 as big as the other GTAs, but once the PC version comes round it might make it. PC version is always the best.teebeenz

No, Halo 3 is gonna be hard to top that game was very very highly anticipated and did not have the contreversy behing it that the GTA series carries, however IMO it will still sell exceptionally well.

Yes, GTA is a huge series and I a think since its on both the 360 and PS3, it will out sell Halo 3. It would not be a surprise to me because GTA is way better than halo.

But halo 3 was the finial game of the series inwhich manly every 360 owner had to find out the ending
GTA4 will easily out sell all other GTA PC versions, people seem to ignore the fact that this is the first time GTA has packed in multiplayer and not just any old multiplayer from all accounts is a massive experiance. So this time around PC users will have to buy GTA rather then to download it as you need a cdkey to play it online. This will change everything and I believe we may see as many as 4-6 million copies sold on the pc.
