GTA IV, released today, a 10 on REVIEW?!? C'mon...!

The game was just released today. How in the hail can it have a perfect 10 review? Doesn't the game itself take something like 100 hours to get through? I honestly don't see how I can trust a 10 review score EVEN IF THEY ONLY HAD 3 WEEKS TO REVIEW IT BEFORE RELEASE.

Any explanation on how it can get a perfect 10?!?

you are so right my friend, gamestop got the game last night, played it for 5 minutes to see how good is it and gave it a perfect 10. i even saw the gamestop guy in the 34st store last night waiting in line for the release of gta 4, he was trying to skip the line because he said that the review has to be done by 6am and he has to play the game for a least an hour.

something dosent feel right, i smell money playing a part with the review...

I kind of figured they got it ahead of time, but even in two weeks of time, I would assume there is 100 hours of game to it, like San Andreas, not something easily completed in two weeks with people who have day jobs (obviously not the lot of you unemployed talking-out-of-your-rectum dickheads). Also, gamespot doesn't usually give out 10s to anything! I'm highly suspicious of that score. I was asking about the score...10 sounds like GTA might've paid them to say that.

The underlying point is the conspiracy of a perfect 10 score on the game. Dayam. I thought people could read between the lines but it seems they can only do this when trading insults with each other.

I'm sorry I don't think GTA4 can get a 10/10 score, yet I'm not saying it is a bad game I havent even tried it but plan to soon. But I think the score of 10/10 that means the game is perfect and has no absloute flaw and everyone who has any interest in gaming will enjoy playing the game yet sorry to say that is IMPOSSIBLE, nothing is perfect. I for myself who have not tried the game yet I do think GTA4 will be a good game but it just can't be perfect.Hazelshock

Yeah, I'm having a hard time buying this myself. I thought San Andreas was a great 9 game & one of my favorites, but Gamespot gave it a 9.6, which is a score I agreed with. Plus it had 100 hours of game play. This game is only half as long, which is disappointing to me. I like the GTA games to be long, perhaps with GTA V.

I can't even think of a game I'd say is a perfect 10. I might say Fallout 1 & 2, or Planescape: Torment, Sanitarium but those games had a few bugs to take away the perfect score. I'd have to say a perfect 10 is a myth. Something that simply cannot be obtained.
