GTA series vs Saint's row series

i put my money on gta, except gta 4. I really enjoyed gta 4 just not as much as gta sa. I'd have to say vice city was my favorite. on the saints row, saints row 2 was better than gta 4, BUT THATS IT. and saints 3 is horrible. anyway ur thoughts

Saints row series easy.

GTA games have been fun to just okay but Saints row 2 and 3 were freaking amazing !!!

Saints row 1 was also fun and also awesome but 2 and 3 blow it away.

Saints Row 3 made me actually like the whole sandbox concept while still having a compelling story worth playing. The fact that you have your own gang makes SR3 pretty much pwn GTA4. I can't take the GTA series seriously when it comes to the story. Though SR3 isn't as realistic, it's still fun as hell in comparison.

I'd take the Saints Row series all day. GTA 4 was boring to me, Saints Row 2+3 were amazing. I do love Vice City and San Andreas though.

GTA by a long way Saints Row has nothing on it.

okay, i see people caomparing sr2 and gta 4, i'm talking about the series. gta 4 was the only realistic game gta had, and gta has way better stories than saints row. i can't get into the saints row stroies

Okay, the worst games from both series were GTA IV and Saints Row 3.

I feel GTA is the better seiries though.

Best GTA game (for me) - Grand Theft Auto Vice City 2nd best - GTA III Third best - GTA San Andreas

The first Saints Row game was the best and it just gradually got worse. At the time, Saints Row was the only real next-gen sandbox gangster game. I mean, the second game started off with you getting reconstructive surgery and you could get a sex change. Really? Although GTA IV had a crappy storyline the gameplay was really good.

I also forgot that GTA IV had the Ballad of Gay Tony which was also had great gameplay.
