GTA4 BAD? not so much

ok people honestly im tired of this ****

i thought gta was a very fun game. was it the greatest thing ever? no. was it up to my expectations? no. was it still a great game? yes. i mean seriously. for a while ive been putting up with people saying gta4 is trash cause its a different kind of ****then past gtas but cann u seriously call it things like "trash" and "terrible"? sure not everybody liked it as much as they thought they would, but u cant even say the game was trash. maybe u didnt like it and it wasnt ur thing, but if u say that the game itself is terrible i dont even understand what ur saying. if you would rather play 80% of the other games that come out you could call it trash, and im pretty sure some of u will say that but honestly that is bull **** because even the biggest gta haters know that its a better game then AT LEAST 70% of the games out right now. anyone who doesn't like it fine. anyone who will call it trash is an idiot

I don't think the game was terrible, far from it, what I called it was boring.

To elaborate, I loved GTA 3, loved Vice City even more, but loathed San Andreas. I was hoping that with the 360, GTA 4 would add something new, but the GTA essence was exactly the same as it had been since GTA 3 on the PS2.

There was absolutely nothing that GTA 4 provided me with to feel like continuing playing it, let alone expect it to somehow recieve a game of the year award. There have been so many amazing games released this year, so for me GTA 4 is a the bottom of that pile.

To agree with you in a way however, I too feel that people's whining and complaining is completely unjustified, especially when people call it broken or whatever.
