What do you think the chances are of some game store employee or perhaps a postal employee getting their hands on a copy of GTA4 and putting some actual gameplay on youtube?...................that would be awesome

More than likely display copies. I work for HMV and we have dozens of display cases behind the counter and we don't recieve our full copies till thursday. (I'm pretty sure that's the same for all stores too.)
The covers a nice though. The "Grand Theft Auto IV" is raised and in silver on both the PS3 and 360 versions. They look real nice.
lol my frined works at rent& own its where they rent and charge like double the price then you own it and they get stuff from a factory and they go there sundays he seen them and workers was taking them lol\. but ya around wes-thus we see stuff because places should be geting there copies on wes

... butmy friend did get halo 3 super early like i think it was a week or two and his gamertag showed it two. I don't think he will be able to get GTA early though.

I had a copy. i work for a factory that does mass distribution and I was curious one day as to what was inside this huge pile of boxes. When i opend it i was surprised to see this Grand Theft Auto 4 video game. I'd never heard of it but thought id take one just cause it seemed like a game my 14yr old cousin in russia would like so i mailed that off to him. Dang, if only he had internet, he could probably show you guys some pics........

I was hoping we'd be allowed to get it early. But we have to use printed barcodes which HMV Head Office aren't turning live till Midnight on the Tuesday it's released, which sucks.
I am sure there will be some store staff that will not be able to help themselves. It is not impossible that someone out there is mowing down pedestrians as we speak.
when san andreas came out i had it early by about 2 weeks. no case or instructions, a buddy of mine at college knew the guy selling them he had a spindle 30 bucks...
I already have my copy. My cousin who just so happens to be Britney Spears. Knows this guy who is related to Kevin Federline that can get games early from his work. She had it put in the divorce papers that i get a copy from Kevin earlier than anyone else. Yea i know lucky me i guess.
What sucks is that I am travelling (with my xbox) that week, but I leave on Monday... for some reason, I preordered it thinking it was coming out on a monday, and since it's tuesday, I have to leave ... without it. :( then again, i'm going to a cottage with a small tv and no surround sound, so why ruin the experience... it'll be there when I get home, but the anticipation of weather it will be there or not is killing me already. I mean, preorder doesnt mean they WILL hold it 100% for sure... even if they are supposed to.

the shops have had replica cases out for weeks, I heard that the real cases for GTA4 will have a slight mettalic finish to the casing as well as raised writing

yeah right, im sure as soon as the game hits the backrooms of the shops they will be some people who work in the shops who even if they not allowed to sell a copy still whack the disc in a console and play it when they get a chance. its just like telling a load of crack heads theys nice big back of rocks in the back for them but they not meant to touch or take any till next week. if they get a chance to take a sly hit then its going down. they can have all the faciltiys setup to keep track if anyone sells it. but who's going to tell on them who also works at the game store and wants a slice of the action as well. if they want to avoid/minimize this then they will just leave the shipping of the games to the stores till the last few days. but theys always going to be some store where they mess up when its devliered early and sell a few
I have got it ! i am not having a laugh but how is this for one. Went to JB hifi, they called me today to pick up a pre order music Cd, when the staff attendant was looking for my order she pulled out a copy of my GTAIV pre order my heart just about stopped.... i casually responded by saying " ah that's in as-well fantastic, i will pay for them both" she placed both items in the yellow bag and i got the f**k out of there as quick as i could. So as of Friday morning (cant play tonight heading out to a club soon) the Ethernet plug is being pulled out of my elite and its not going back in untill release day just to be sure. I know you're not going to believe me because i wouldnt, and you know what.... i really don't care. ;)
