im gettin a new game and its between GTA4 or COD WAW. i play online multiplayer mostly and i loved COD4. but i heard GTA4 is good. what do you think i should get?
Well I would go with GTA 4 but if your looking for a good multiplayer neither is that great. COD WAW is a copy and paste for COD 4 so I would just play COD 4 if I were you. GTA 4 has a really good story and it would take you a long time if you wanted to beat it 100%. I would got with GTA 4 for sure.
there is an article in the newer Game Informer (pretty sure that's where I saw it) that said the multi-player modes for GTA are pretty much dead. Meaning hardly no one online during the 3 day weekend they tested it

But, with the new GTA dlc coming with new MP modes, maybe it'll pick up.
Kinda odd considering they are pretty different. One is a World War II first person shooter, the other a modern day third person crime shooter. I would go with Call of Duty: World at War seeing as you are looking more for an online multiplayer type of game. Id say GTA4, only cuz I wasn't all that impressed with WaW. if you want to play online just keep playing COD4 cuz nothing can beat that. But I will say that once I beat GTA4 I didnt play it a whole lot after.

It was either the issue w/Uncharted 2 or Halo Recon on the cover - can't really remember which one.
Try the demo for World at War and see if it is enough change for you to want to buy it. GTA IV is amazing, but the multiplayer is lacking.II-FBIsniper-II

Yeah, I heard that online for GTA IV is pretty much dead. Some of the game modes are dead, but you can find a match pretty easily.
