Guitar Hero II Downloadable Tracks Confirmed

For Guitar Hero II in the IGN Review it said tracks from Guitar Hero would appear on Marketplace about a week after the game launches, here are three tracks they know will appear on Xbox Live Marketplace, Ozzy's "Bark at the Moon", Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Higher Ground", and Incubus' "Stellar." No prices were listed.

Well, if this is true, its a completely stupid idea. Just put the tracks INTO the game. Its not that hard.

Just another example of microsoft price gouging there customers in idiotic ways. 

I personally don't care that much if they are free or not... As long as they are reasonable price.

Remember that if Red Octane wanted to anger even more people with a ps2... It would be to ADD all the original Guitar Hero songs, Guitar Hero 2 songs, add extra songs, and have it all for only $10 more then the Guitar Hero 2 version for PS2.

That is a problem... And they figure they would gain some money from releasing them seperate. ASking for them to be free is like asking for an entire game for free with updated everything (Guitar Hero)...

I am sure they will have new songs in the near future, but it's good for people like me who doesn't own guitar hero, or a ps2 anymore... So, I don't have to sit here and completely miss all the original guitar hero songs.

Actually, I would like to see a lot of different kinds of music. I don't like just sticking with a few genre's... but I think it would be cool if they had all kinds of music... Including Thrash metal... Among other things.

The more songs, more types of music, and more DLC, the better imo.

Lol im probably gonna get flamed for this but id like to see some Country,a few more My Chemical Romance songs(dead is ok but they have better), Linkin Park, and i would really like to see Three Days Grace-Just Like You or I Hate Everything about You...also some of The Who would be niceFUBAR24

Yo more Classisc rock songs would be awesome WHO, Beatles, Stones, even Steppnwolf woyld be rad. If any metal is on DLC I hope for more Maiden maybe some Nightwish or even 3 Inches of blood. But the sickest thing they can get on DLC is some ska bands like reel big fish, streetlight manifesto, catch 22, some less than jake.

personally i'd rather pay a small fee for a steady strem of good DLC than to have them just stick up the GHI songs with a couple others. 

They are going to have extra guitars to buy first day right? I really want to get this and an extra guitar. Anyone know how much the extra guitar will be? I'm guessing 50 bucks at the least. Its funny, I'll have 2 guitars and I don't even have 2 regular controllers.jmartinez1983

i read somewhere that the guitar will retail for $59.99.  i forget where so no link :(

i only remember this because i remember thinking "wow, the game is $30...sort of"
