That was awesome that episode.

A great take on the entire musical schism in bands and just the general idea of "Why don't you bother with a real guitar instead of guitar hero?".

I personally don't care for guitar hero, but that episode was funny (same as WoW, I didn't have to play it to realize how funny it was). The accoustic air guitar thing that kid did at the lunch meeting was awesome though.

I'm suprised there wasn't a bigger uproar about this though.

That was a great episode. I love South Park. The stories are so freakin' hilarious.

but yeah, I'm glad that they reminded guitar hero players that what they are doing is not cooler(or harder) than playing actual guitar.

But at the end of the day, it's still just a game.

i play real guitar, and seriously, the real guitar is harder cause you are not only worring about where to put your fingers, but now, tou have 6 differents strings to put them on, ane MULTIPLE frets that you need to put them on. The only thing that guitar hero is any good for in the real guitar world, is maybe t4eaching all your fingers to work together when needed. thats about it.BikerPunk

Easily one of the best parts of the episode.

i enjoyed guitar hero at my buddy's.. he hasn't picked up his guitarsince he got it (not that he played much before)

i could never buy the game.. i'd have to kick my own arse if i got real good at it. over my real guitar.

Yeah it was pretty funny. I never understood the whole conecpt of Guitar hero. Now Herion Hero is something I can see people playing. Air guitar, I don't get why people love that game so much. Its beyond me I guess.

I agree, the ending of that episode was very amusing. I'd much rather play my guitar other than on a video game with tiny pre-school toy. I posted a topic about that earlier. Turns out the game is the sh1t after all, I just don't enjoy it as much as others do.

I've been playing guitar for 15 years or so, and its WAY harder than guitar hero obviously...

Anyone who says differently is a moron...
