Halo 3, are you still playing or have you moved on?

As the topic states, I was just wondering how many ppl are still playing especially with odst's new map pack and so on. I don't really find playing H3 to be too much fun unless many ppl I know online are playing. If you are still playing then hit up my GT at KingIboo and sign your GT here

I wasn't very happy with Halo 3 when i first got it awhile back so I got rid of it, plus it was overshadowed by COD 4 at the time, but Im gonna get ODST soon and might get back into playing online but im sure I will be playing firefight much more

im still playin halo 3. and one thing you said kinda contradicted itself. you said whos still playin halo 3, u kno with the new odst map pack and all. that second disc with the map packs is Halo 3 but just the multiplayer part of it.. but yeah i play halo 3 and am picking up odst in about 2 hours or so actually.. :) i hope the campaign isnt as short as i keep hearing it is but regardless i kno i will love the game and i gotta hve it anyways because halo is one of my favorite game series. i have Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo Wars (which was a good game but i might trade in soon because im not the biggest fan of it). so i gotta get odst. its not just to finish my collection tho. ive heard many good things about it and am really looking forward to playing it. but sorry, now im just rambling lol. yes i still play Halo 3. and my Gamertag is: Krepency

for the past few weeks i have been back into the halo 3 trend. i was getting tired of call of duty and figured i should set them down until MW2 hit the shelves so could be rested up.

I really only play the multiplayer because Halo is the only shooter that my best friend owns. Gamertag is in the sig, though, if you'd like to play. I'm always up for custom shenanigans, but I just never have anyone to play with.

I vary it up and swap between Halo 3, ODST, and Gears 2.

I got bored of it a while ago, played the multiplayer for about a couple of hundred games (since release) and now just play occasionally,,,seriously its not THAT fun after a while I dont see how certain sad individuals can sink thousands of matches worth of time into the thing, these people have no life

I Play occasionally when my friends come on, and i been playing a bit since halo 3 ODSTcame out. Once MW2 comes out, i prob wont play it any more until the halo reach beta comes out.

Yeah, I still play it. I got back into it a few months ago because a few of my friends finally got xbox live and that was the only game they played. But, now I'm hooked on it again, especially with firefight in ODST.

Yes I still play it regularly since I've purchased ODST.

I never really stopped playing Halo 3's online although how much I played did vary a lot, I can't play at all at the moment as I just recently got the dreaded three red lights of death.

I stopped playing Halo 3 a while ago because I was sick of emptying a full clip into somebody and having them just turn around and stick me or have one of their teamates finish me off. I picked up ODST when it came out though but mostly for firefight. I still play COD4 more than that though.

im over it i got satisfaction with cod4 and battlefield 1943 that i never got with halo 3

im just gonna wait til 2010 to get halo reach limited collectors special explosion edition!!!!!!

When I was saying that I (And most of the Fan Base) were severely disapointed with Banjo-Kazooie Nuts & Bolts (For obvious reasons), some random dude came by and said that I should personally "stop crying" and play Banjo-Tooie, then he called those who were disapointed "Lame-Wads", then he was babbling nonsence such as "Without Change theres stagnation", "Developers should make Hybrids", and "Developers shouldn't listen to their Fan Base/Customers". Recently, he said that OOT is a "Laughable" contender for G.O.A.T. (Despite how it influenced many Games since then), and he said that the "REAL" Great Games are those that few play (A.K.A. No logic).

2. When I said that Fallout 3 was Great Game/RPG, some elitist QUESTIONED MY experience to RPG's for MY Opinion.

I stop playing its multiplayer about 1 year ago considering i never paid for downloadable maps. Now im playing it again with ODST.

I don't play online much, so looking at the single player aspects of each, I still stick with Halo 3. The campaign's just so much more epic to me. That and there's no Flood in ODST, which I didn't like. Not to say that ODST wasn't a good game - I thought it was great! I just think Halo 3 is greater.

I used to play Halo 3 like nuts back in the day. I use to play this game more then 6 hours+ doing those days. I just got ODST and Im playing the living heck out of it, but I also played the 2nd disk of ODST (The Mythic disk for the Halo 3 multiplayer) and its fun here and there, but after playing a few matches today in Halo 3, it just didn't feel that much fun like what it use to be. I play Mythic Brawl yesterday on Halo 3 and I got so much Frustration in there that it isn't even funny at all. I guess playing with friends is much better, but half of them don't have ODST so I can't play the new gametypes, but then, I get so much frustration on some of them. I still play it here and there, but that's only with Friends or Family members, without them, Im playing ODST or something else. Probably when all the new games come out this year, I may not touch Halo 3 as much, mainly because some of my friends are going to play Modern Warfare 2 so what to expect. That's just how I am TC.

Plus, the Halo 3 Community is bad in the game. I can't remember one game besides Halo 3 that I get so much idiots on there.

I still play halo 3 online a lot. It's one of the few online games that I can keep coming back to and I've played a lot of em---i.e. COD, MW, GeOW, etc... I find it easy to pick up and it's still a lot of fun for me. :)

Moved on. Halo is too slow and boring for me. ODST did nothing new for the MP experience. It was a one week game and got stale quick. Just as much as people try to justify why Firefight is the best thing out right now, at the end its just as repetitive as say zombies or hordes. Just different characters. MW2 will be epic and can't wait for it to come out.

P.S. for the person who asked if the campaign really is short the answer is YES (5 hrs on legendary)

Halo3 has Foge, Custom games , movie''editing''(sarcasm)- and picture taking and most obviously matchmaking,

so its not so much about playing the game annymore its to create new maps, make a gametype for that map, make a

custom game out of those andtaking pictures of that map all of that with our cyberspace freinds

(that live around the corner but us being 2 lazy to go there cuz ... its raining... yhea... rain... that's bad.)

So its not much of a game now its just a nice sandbox.

I stopped playing Halo 3 awhile ago, but maybe I'll start again.

I had moved on, but ODST sucked me back in.
