K so Im always reading on these forums about the war in between Halo 3 and Cod4. What I dont get is why everyone gets so angry when someone says Halo 3 is better than CoD4. It all depends on your preferences, and shouldnt be about which is worse or better. I just find it absolutly stupid that people are fighting over which game is better.

See, thats your opinion. I personally like CoD4 better too, but I do still like Halo 3, but I dont freak out about getting my answer out there
unfortunatly from what i can tell, rational arguments like this aren't usually welcome on gaming forums. it seems that ppl would rather attept to make a complete stranger they have never met look stupid, then actually prove there point or come to some kind of reasonable compramise.
Ya I know what ya mean. People are always comparing the Browns to the Steelers when it is so obvious that the Steelers own the Browns every single year! Here we go!!!
THere is nothing wrong with either game. Both are very good. Both are very well done.
One is more realistic and war game oriented, the other is scifi and more run and gun/freelance oriented.

exactly, i can understand if some want to say cod4 has the better graphics, hands down it does look better, but as far as overall gameplay they are way different. i personaly love the way cod4 is so real, a granade frags you pretty easy, the guns damage is rather real, and its more team oriented and really based on reality were as halo you can be rambo, take on an army of 30 dudes and win no problem. thats fine if thats your cup of tea.
I personally prefer halo 3 not only because i like halo 3 type of game play ie unrealistic but also i really like the saved films feature and custom games. But COD 4 is still a really good game though i just prefer halo 3
I like COD4's weapon system, where you don't have to find your favorite weapon, you just have it. I like COD4. But I also hate when people say Halo 3 sucks, like it's freakin' fusion frenzy 2, it's an amazing game still, I just prefer COD
