Will halo 3 have a split screen feature for coop? So me and my friend can play? Or is it only playable on Xbox Live?

Yea, they said there would be online and offline co-op. 2 players offline, and 4 players online.

You can also have a mix. You and your friend can go online on the same xbox and play 2 others in Co-Op
