I got an e-mail today saying I was accepted, I'm so happy, especially because I don't have the money to buy crackdown, and I don't have time to be playing Halo 2 for 3 hours.

I know yo i played the crackdown demo and it sucked SO MUCH...no wonder if they wanted the least bit of sales to actually offer a halo3 beta code to make it sell.

I just checked my older email account which i only do about once a week and on the 22nd i got an email saying that i had been selected. i never thought that i would be picked. i was going to get crackdown anyways so this is weird. i guess when it rains it pours, but in a good way.

I loved the Crackdown Demo and I thought it sucked at the begining. But after I played it and got my guy leaping buildings and throwing semi trucks this game kicked @$$. So that is a plus plus for me. And I guess a negative plus for you guys not wanting crackdown and a plus for the guys who got the invite. (CONGRATS TO YOU ALL BY THE WAY) But I like the demo and if I end up not wanting it then I will just sell it on ebayand that lucky person will get in on the free Halo 3 Beta download. So anyone else like crackdown?

This blows. It happened with the Sierra Mist 360 giveaway too, witht he bottlecaps. I came on the forums and everyone said they got one. Now everyone is saying they got the confirmation email, but me? Hell no, not me. I have garbage luck. Not just with this kind of stuff either.

I got 2 emails. One saying thanks for my interest and the other saying congratulations I've been selected. It said to check my XBox live for a message at a later date.

nope...i haven't, but i believe you had to have your xbx live name linked to that email addres and to bungie.net for you to get accept, and i didn't wanna do all that

Im not shocked i have never won anything in my life.lol Ill prolly just have to pre order crack down. It sucks that is random in a way because i have had all halo games on midnight of the first day stood in line etc. And alot of people said they dont want to play it before it comes out i think they should not have entered if thats how they feel they took a chance from the ones that want to play it. that's what i got...im hoping i get selected, but they are probably looking for active halo 2 players, and my bungie.net stats only have 9 pages of games. i'm not sure how many that is but i've had the game since 2005.

i dont think so. maybe they're looking for a wide selection of diff ppl. i got an invite and have only played halo2 once (not even online) under my new gamertag and signed up just 2 weeks ago. i'm no fanboy of halo or anything and could care less if i got in or not. i just signed up to see. never thought i'd actually get an invite.

lol to all of those that got an invite, i hate all of you lol. jk good luck to the ones that got it. i got an email yesterday but it wasnt the congrats one it was the wait 2 days to see if i get an invite. well its the morning of the 24th and it seems that i probably wont be getting an invite. so i guess i just have to wait for my crackdown preorder to arrive.
