Halo 3 is gaining poularity again which is a good thing and also Call of Duty is getting stale now anyways. It only offers matchmaking to be honest, private match is poor and other than that there is no Co op mode or anything. Halo 3 will last because it still has a lot to offer.

well im not close to being bored of it especially with the perks and guns i think halo 3 is fun just got old fast.
if you break it up betwen games none of them get too old, i stopped playin halo 3 when cod4 started to take off, and now im back in H3. I guess i just prefer a good sci fi game to escape everyday reality. COD4 is good but the whole real world real war thing doesn't last for me....
More than likely we wont with COD 5 coming soon which I wont get I dont like Treyarch but back when COD 2 first came out they dropped some maps but once 3 was close to dropping that was it and the maps have not went down in price either thats crazy 3 years later too.
i dont think it has something to do with hype, is anyone playing CoD 4 because CoD WW? maybe people played too much CoD 4, but halo players continued to play halo, no that many CoD players are playig halo, maybe they are playing everything else
