Either Normal or Heroic. Also in the original Halo if you beat the final level (The Maw) on legendary you got an extended ending scene with an elite grabbing one of the marines a55. See it on youtube if you don't feel like playing. I just wonder if they will have anything special in Halo 3 if you beat the game on legendary. Special scenes or maybe skulls would be nice.

Special skulls for beating legendary or just skulls in general? Because there's one skull per level according to Halo 3's achievements.
There will be Co-Op, but not On-Line Co Op at the moment anyway. The guys at bungie said that they have every intention of releasing it, but most probably will come post release of the game and will come in 'patch' form for Halo 3.
What difficulty for me? Heroic. (Its advised that you play it on Heroic anyways)
normal to go through it kinda quick without frustration then heroic to experience a challenge and then legendary to play it checkpoint by checkpoint :D
Normal. Legendary is too intense for me. Plus I'd rather be more relaxed and soak in all of the graphical effects and story the first time around.gamerfreak13
Exactly anything where you are dieing all the time its just not as good.
