Its not Halo 4 that will be unveiled. It would be the Halo/Peter Jackson project which technically is the 4th or 5th Halo game but it wont be numbered Halo4

I have followed the halo series and even though bungie said it was done the ending of halo 3 could just go to show that it might be done for now but once the new xbox comes out around 2012 or so well we'll just have to wait..

i am pretty sure halo wars is based just before the fall of reach because in the trailer it shows the spartan unit and during the fall of reach all the spartans die except one.....

Either way its just as possible that they could do a side story or soemthing else with Halo 4. Just because the fight is supposedly finished doesn't mean they can't make any other game of halo.

Im guessing it might be an MP only game as something of that nature was talked about before HAlo 3 even launched. I think that is cool as far as being a huge map pack. Just as long as it is not $60

There might be another Halo-related game in the same universe announced but it WON'T be Halo 4. Could be another prequel or another series but not Halo 4.
There will be no Halo 4 and if there is it will be Marathon since it has been said and suggested that Marathon takes place in the same universe in the future. Also the main charcter in MArathon is simmilar to Master Chief. Halo Wars is a prequel. The game would most likely be called Marathon if they are making halo 4. Although they could say it's halo 4. Also the next halo game coming out is Halo Chronicles that is being in production with Peter Jackson.
Halo Wars is being developed by Ensemble Studios, not Bungie. Bungie may have helped here and there, but they are not creating it. I have not heard that Halo Wars is a prequel, either. Halo 3 was the end of that specific storyline. More games can be created in a different point or storyline. Another Halo game is obvious, but the date unknown.

I hadn't heard of this article. If it is, in fact, a prequel, then it should be interesting to see how the storyline of the game fits in the Halo universe.
