I've come across some rumours tha Halo 3 will only last 9 levels. Thoughts and feeling about how short this game sounds and that it might end up like Halo 2 did?
What if the levels are divided into 3 sublevels that are an hour long each? Well that would be 3 times 9=27 hours. Plus multiplayer. Just because it is 9 levels doesn't give a full description of the length. Anyways its a rumour, duh!
i believe that they did confirm that it's only 9 levels on a recent Bungie podcast. However, unlike halo1 or 2, this one will have much more replay value. 4-player co-op, statistics for each level (more points are earned through skillful kills), speed runs, saved films in campaign, and others which they have not yet mentioned. And since the A.I. is much more complex this time around, the game is not as predictible(if you even considered the first two predictible at all)
I disagree, thats only a rumour, most rumours are fake, and the AI, the scenery and everything else has been changed dramatically, lots more put into the game, so theres going to be more gameplay.
