I liked Halo 3, but it never really amazed me. It took me a while to get into the multiplayer, and I didn't find the campaign any good at all. So is Halo Reach better? If so, in what way?
weapons are more balanced, more customization (armor, game types, maps), abilities like jet packs and armor lock add more elements to game play, match making firefight mode, matchmaking campaign co-op, more game types (headhunter, stockpile, invasion), bigger multiplayer maps, better community (nobody is screaming at you because you costed them reaching a level 50, :P)
well it has it's ups and downs. But online, there's no levels so that means no boosters trying to hit 50. It doesn't matter if you win or lose online as much, because you get a rank which depends on how good you do in the match. I like that. The campaign is ok, not the best in the series but it gets the job done.
For me, it's much better. Weapons are all balanced and you can actually kill people using the AR in multiplayer without being demolised. Armour Abilities add an interesting (if sometime annoying) effect into battles. SP is much more enjoyable and has a feeling of impending doom and bada**-ness Firefight is actually much better and has matchmaking. There's matchmaking for basically everything now (even campaign) More game-modes and bigger maps I find the community to be much better (guess all the screamers moved on to CoD)
