Halo reach vs Black ops

What do you prefer out of two?

Different types of games. I prefer BO because I like the fast-paced gameplay, but Reach is more balanced, so yeah.

I prefer Halo Reach almost hands down. The fact that Call of Duty is not as much about team tactics as much as individual power, I never got a connection with the community that I did with Halo Reach. Also no spawn killing. SyndaciteX

People spawn kill a lot on Hemorrhage, and when you play Invasion you can get spawn killed too.

You can't compare the two but I prefer to play both, both have their fun online play and their both have their raging moments

I'd personally say they are even. COD and Halo each have their pros and cons.

Like theater mode is pretty pointless in COD coz nothing fun ever happens, and COD has the aim assist which is either a good thing/bad thing depending on you, where as Halo has no real point to leveling up, but you have more health and don't get killed quite as easily, but then that means you don't get kills as easily

Why do people keep making these threads, they are completely different types of games, all these do is start flame wars. But as for me, I still need to get Reach.

Black Ops has a great quarterback and receivers but Reach has great Linebackers and a defensive line that could nuetralize there offense. 21-17 Reach wins in a close game

I enjoy CoD:BO more because of the faster paced gameplay. After playing black ops and switching to Halo Reach it feels like a drag, it's slower paced, takes longer to find matches (personal experience) and leveling up on reach feels pointless in comparison. Although I will say that reach had some crazy off the wall fun moments that you just cant get from black ops so like everyone else said here they have pros and cons.

Once you get rolling on Halo Reach you will have a blast and its only slower paced if your also playing black ops, im sure you wont even notice the pacing if that's the only fps you have. Either one you get will be good because if you have one without the other you cant see the flaws, you enjoy whichever one you have for what's fun about it. I can say that I owned both at the same time and Reach collected dust so it got sold, I had no intention on playing it since I am really into Black ops.

Um, they're not that comparable. I find myself reaching for Black Ops more than Reach though.

Can someone explain to me, possibly with a smartass sarcastic attitude, as to why someone would not be able to do something as simple as comparing their liking of two different video games?

As for me, I can't say, because I don't own either one. However, I am probably going to buy Reach at some point, and not Black Ops. I have BC2 for my modern shooter.

Enough of these threads . K we get it you wanna compare the 2 top shooters of the year but in the end only thing they have in common is their FPs , In the End their are completey different i know people are gonna prefer one over the other especially the Marines who think COD is the greatest thing since siiced bread but enough Comparing their gotta Be like 1000 threads With the Same title " halo reach vs COD BO " enough is enough!!!

Halo Reach for sure. It's a more fun than Black Op's. And having a system link with friends, playing Reach is amazing fun.

And Halo Reach is more accessible for people to jump in, have a game. And they could win.

Black Op's is much harder to win a match. With a lot of campers everywhere.

Halo Reach is the better game. I have both on Xbox 360. But Reach, is the way to go.

Reach is one of the most complete FPS ever released and has a ton of replay value while Black Ops is just another FPS for 13 year olds. Reach has more substance while Black Ops is to entertain the kiddies for half an hour.

COD for me.
