CoD by a mile. Loved CE, Halo 2, and ODST SP, but 3 and Reach were lame imo. 3 had good MP but it was a downgrade from 2, and the campaign was awful. There isn't a single CoD game I haven't really liked.
I like Battlefield games better than both Halo and CoD games, though. And when it comes to playing FPS campaigns and SP stuff, I'd choose other smaller profile games over Halo and CoD for sure... Deus Ex, Bioshock, Farcry, etc...
I prefer COD honesty. I have always thought Halo was a very overrated series and I never found the games that fun, besides the first one. I've chalked up countless hours on COD zombies with friends and still play it from time to time.
Halo appeals more to me, the weapons, the vehicles, and in general the ocncept behind the series is one of the best I've seen although still there are series I like more!
Quality=Halo. Which I would choose to play if forced to pick between the two=CoD.
Halo is obviously the higher quality series. But I've put in more time in to World at War(My least amont of play time on a CoD game) than all of the Halo games combined. Why? Ease of play. CoD appeals to more people because it's easy to pick up and play for whatever length of time you want to. Halo, at least to me, gets boring after a few matches. It's more of a weekly thing. Play a couple days a week and fill in the spare time with CoD and Gears.
If halo reach was so dumb founded by lame abilty's i would of spent 1000's of hrs in it just like i did with halo 1, just like halo 2(god that game was so bad for my health) just like halo 3.
cod4 was the only good cod yet. cod 5= i took that game back for it's gernade fest in vet SP. I bought the game went played SP on vet about the 3 mission in i couldn't take it anymore. take two steps get 5 nades on your feat and take 5 steps to run away. MW2 glitch fest. blk ops, yawn. done buying them.
