Anyone else think theres a chance Halo:Reach will be a MMOFPS? Lets look at the facts so far -We know nothing about its gameplay, other than the fact that its FPS based -Bungie is running out of ideas for regular FPS games *cough*ODST*cough* -Theres a reach beta, meaning there probably will be a much different FPS style of gameplay in Reach, MMO anyone? -It seems every developer and their moms are making generic FPS shooters nowadays, its a good time to get away from it -They gotta save some ideas for Halo 4 I for one really hope it to be, it doesnt have to be as big as MAG, just enough for us to enjoy the chaos =D

just have to say that i think the publishment of odst has nothing to do with out of ideas. It's more like they want us to experence the game from another perspective other the the master chief.

Pretty much to make money for future projects, maybe like getting the film back on track I don't know. They know people will buy it regardless of it being insanely similar to Halo 3.

either your an idiot or you never follow the story line. besides, mmo is getting unoriginal anyway. I expect the multiplayer is a faction orinented game, UNSC vs convie.
Although i cant imagine it being an mmo your logic does make sense especially as the multiplayer bungie normally use doesnt need a beta so you could be onto something especially as reach is about a battle between the spartans and the covenant.

Bungie will keep milking this overrated series till the end, and out of fear they wont make any drastic changes, so its an fps
Says the guy with COD4 in his recent games. (To be a little more clear, COD is probably the most milked franchise that has changed absolutely nothing, from single player to multiplayer, until perks each game was basically a copy/paste. There are many more COD's than Halo's, COD is a multiplat that gets developed for everything including handhelds, but Halo is the overrated series being milked, right?)
I would expect a Mass Effect fan to be intelligent and not one of the millions of ignorant Halo haters.

Well I can only base my opinions on the gameplay videos which we've seen, just as you are. Although I'm not totally sure what you meant.
Have any of you actually ever read the book. ITs a shame. Go to your bookstore and read it. I sure do hope is follows that to some extent then it would be quite an amazing game
