What do you think about Microsoft coming out with a handheld system? Will it be good or bad? Just imagine Xbox Live on the go, sounds pretty cool.

The handheld market is saturated enough...I wouldn't buy one if it ever comes out.

Agreed. To me, gaming belongs in front of a big screen and a surround system. I have no interest in any handheld devices....to me, if you cant wait to get home to play games, there's a problem!

Saturated isn't the word, dominated is what comes to mind.

If they could make a handheld that would be at least as powerful as the PSP with good tech and join it with the 360 sytem I'd be all over it.

Honestly i'd love to have a handheld that allowed me to hook up and sync with the 360 marketplace (music, games and videos as well as internet connection).

At the very least I wish they'd make the zune more intigrated as I already have a couple.

I can't imagine ever buying another system from Microsoft honestly, not after all the problems I've had with 360. If they do make a handheld, they would really have to make something amazing to brake into the handheld market at this point.

There is no reason to have a MS handheld. Between the PSP, the DSi(LL, lite, XX, QQ, pewpew), and phones I think it's covered...

Would not be interested in the slightest. Like someone stated previously Gaming..wait Real Gaming is to be played at home with visual and audio better than any hand-held can produce. Besides hand-helds are like the kid consoles in my opinion.

It might be a problem. Microsoft really relies on Live to sell and without that, I doubt it would sell to well. And you can't be connected to the internet constantly with a handheld.

I have a PSP. For a while I got a good use out of it as a multimedia system as well as gaming but I just never use it anymore.. it doesn't interest me. I wouldn't buy an MS handheld if it came out.

I'd get it if enough good games came out. As long as they don't pull of a Nintendo, it would be cool.

Same here. I think an Xbox handheld would be very intriguing. Having ports of great Xbox titles or related series on the handheld would be fun. Especially if they deliver Xbox Live on it. Would revolutionize handhelds.

its never going to happen, I think microsoft did look into it once, even lent its name to something that could act as a gaming system but in the end decided better of it. And I dont blame them considering. The handheld market is so heavily dominated by nintendo that even sony has had to struggle to force its way into the market. The PSP may be succesful but sony had to spend a lot of money developing it and about as much getting it into the market

Thus I doubt microsoft will bother anytime soon

And I might add I personally wouldnt bother buying it if they did release a handheld, between them the DS and PSP have the gaming needs of handheld gamers pretty much covered, what the DS doesnt have the psp likely does and vice versa, so why bother? Plus I really dont want to see microsoft sony and nintendo turn the handheld market into a fight for who has the most powerful graphics just as the home consoles have been (till nintendo broke said cycle with the wii), so far hand helds have been free from that ridiculous nonsense and just concentrated on games, and I would rather it stayed that way
