Hmm, I'd say the orangebox but I'm not sure if that counts, any others?

orange box, it just takes a while. NG2 however, requires extreme skill, luck, and glitching to get 1250 on that.
^^^ I agree with smash tv as the hardest to get 200/200 on without cheating
Anyway for me its star ocean as some of those battle trophies....ughhhh so annoying
Also, in terms of XBLA games, I think Smash TV would be the hardest to 200 point, as one of the achievements requires you to complete the entire game ON ONE CONTINUE. I think there was a glitch that allowed people to do it, it's pretty much an inhuman feat otherwise.DJ_Lae

Things like this is a big reason why I dislike the achievement system. Its not a bad idea, its just the execution is awful, tts full of lazy efforts like this and explotive ones like in Gears of War where you have to buy an XBL account to get them and spend a ton of time grinding to get them.
wow just wow yeah, ive heard this game is ridiculously hard. dmc4 is also crazily hard. as for me, id have to also put a vote for the orange box. there are a lot of difficult achievements but aperture, rocket, and basic science, on portal... wow. those are the last few i need to get 1000gs and they are crazily difficult. i guess i could say just those few are very hard, not enough to make the rest very hard, if you know what i mean.[QUOTE="XxTheFuryxX"]

[QUOTE="white_sox"]Not including glitched games, Final Fantasy 11.jstarzykThe general consensus is that FFXI is the longest 1000 out there. Yeah, I just looked up the achievements. Holy crap. FF XI is probably #1 in terms of time but in difficulty its The Orange Box.

It's Final Fantasy XI.. no one has a legit 1250G in it.
Darkslayer16
It's not hard, just time consuming.
There's a difference.
Not many games are hard to get 1000/1000 in, because most achievements aren't hard.
I'm pretty sure GRAW would be the hardest. You had to be #1 on the leaderboards for online to get one of them.

So, how much time would someone had to put in to get all achievements?I've heard that some old sports games have had their servers shut down, making their multiplayer achievements impossible. Don't really know about that, though.
Hmm, I'd say the orangebox but I'm not sure if that counts, any others?
Wakanoid
Nah, Orange Box isn't super hard. I've got them all, and there are some titles that are way harder.
I don't really keep up with the hardest games to get 1000 points on, but I remember that F.E.A.R is a nightmare.Caddy06_88
FEAR has that stupid "Beat theentire game without dying" achievement. It's unthinkable.

RAGINGxPONY
This, pretty much. I can't imagine how many days you would have to spend boosting to get this.

I would have to say FF11 cause from what i hear it takes like 3 years to raise one character or whatever to 75 and you have to do that more than once... so yeah.. that one has my vote lol

Well than you must be a master at that game. All the portal gold challenges....finding all those bugs in HL2....there is just so much crap in that game.

The bugs aren't that big of a deal. That's just a one-time run through with a guide. The Portal challenges are hard, but they're not hundreds of hours hard like some things mentioned in this thread.

It's doable. I have that achievement myself.

My friend got the achievement on their first play through and they are of average skill, so it's easily doable with a lot of saving.
I think the achievements on GRID were pretty insane, most of them needing a considerable high amount of wins online and to achieve one of the highests ranks in the game which requires a lot of daily gaming

People either say it is Cod 4 but it is NOT. In Veteran, you need tactics and play overly aggressive to beat the game's AI. Which was quite easy for some people.
CoD4 is nowhere near the most difficult game to get 1000 points on. Sure, if somebody is not good at Call of Duty games, they will have issues, but it's very doable.People either say it is Cod 4 but it is NOT.
