Yeah, that franchise has always been hard. Even the NES games were extremely hard. I had to use game genie back in the day to beat them.I see a lot of people find Ninja gaiden games difficult lol
Fallenpriince
both Ninja Gaiden (black) and Ninja Gaiden 2 i have played a TON of games but none compare to the difficulty of these games, i have wanted to throw my controller through the window at several occasions and i havent even beat them yet
on ng2 (technically the 2nd boss) took me literally no exaggeration 3 hours to beat of constant non stop extreme frustration gameplay............ and it was on easy
Ikaruga. Unless you're Bionic Commando or Chuck Norris, you will spend hours and hours memorising the levels so you can stand a chance of getting through them.
Portal is a hard game, it's the type of game that gives you a headache and frustration at the same time.
lol @ jump out windowNinja Gaiden Black and NG II in master ninja mode...OMG i was about to jump out of the window
Mafia217
I don't know if anyone remembers playing Mission Impossible for the N64, but Impossible Mode was just that. Maybe it was because I was pretty young and not the worlds best gamer but I simply could not beat it no matter how much time I put into it. The game demoralized me further by make a difficulty that was categorized as "impossible." I guess I do know someone that beat it, but I'll never go back and try.
Call of duty WaW veteran Mode, man i rip my hair out on that game. then 2nd Ninja Gaiden 1
Oh yeah,and Trials HD.
Are you serious? that game is so easy. Anyways, Ninja Gaiden is such a hard game that it's not fun to play it. The difficulty of this game is just ridiculous.Portal is a hard game, it's the type of game that gives you a headache and frustration at the same time.

I think I might still actually have that, though it's been so long I can't remember if I ever played it on Impossible mode.
My hardest game ever was Battletoads. I was never able to get past that racing level. It also didn't help that I always played it with my brother and we almost always ended up killing each other by that point. For 360 though, I think the only games I've played that were hard you had to go out of your way to make them hard, such as getting gold on all of the challenges in Portal or playing Left 4 Dead on expert by yourself.
Trying to push the tyrant out of the plane's hanger in Resident Evil:Code Veronica used to get on my nerves very quickly. I mean you had very small limited space to move around as it is, and he would just corner you and wail away.
Ninja Gaiden 1 on the original Xbox was a brutal nightmare for me to get through. Devil May Cry 3 was really tough too.
I guess an honerable mention from my childhood would have to go out to Heihachi from Tekken 1 since he was the boss, OMG what a prick lol. Me and my high school friend were talking about that once and how he wanted to punch his tv over that :P
mega man 9 is pretty hard, ikaruga is pretty dificult but its one of my favorite games, and yeah rainbow six vegas 1 is pretty tough, but fun, they lightened things up in 2 though...
