ive played every single CoD game and yes. The first one was the best and still is one of my favorite games of all time.
Yes, I've played every game in the series, including some of the early, unfortunate console ports. (Big Red 1 FTL.) They're all good, but if you ask me, it's not really COD if it isn't made by Infinity Ward. donalbane
^ Truth.
I've actually been playing through COD 1 on my PC the last couple of weeks. It's a lot of fun to go back to old games (that still hold up today). I've also been playing No One Lives Forever again. Great game. Really makes you realize gaming has been mainstreamed these days.
This. I love Call of Duty. My favorite series since the first game.ive played every single CoD game and yes. The first one was the best and still is one of my favorite games of all time.

i played the first one yes the one that was on the ps2duvalbosnian
The PS2 and Xbox games don't count. They were just spin-offs made to cash in on the popularity and critical success of the original. Just like COD:W@W.
Yes I have.
Played both COD 1 and 2 back in the day, single player was my thing.
Thats why I coundt complete cod 4, because it bored me. Multiplayer isnt my thing, so the single player was just the same old with a new boring theme. I liked ww 2 and never grew tired of that theme :)

I like the ww 2 theme much more because, you get to fight in the battles that happend back then, see the world from back then. Gives it a great atmosphere.
Modern Combat is just boring to me. No special battles reimagined.
Yup. I liked the first one, but it wasn't as good as the expansion pack. Like the first mission where you man a Browning M1919A3 and mow down all those Germans. The Italian missions were fun too
:)
yea baby played every one!!!
first one on pc, = Sick
Secound on xbox = great times with buddys playing split-screen
Third = sucked ass
fourth = Added more energy into the franchise...amazing
and world at war = not as bad as excpected(only cause im a pro and the k/d is like 2.4 :P) haha
Mordern Warfare 2, in like 6 months!
That wasn't the first call of duty ever made, that was COD Finest Hour.I am never going to forget the first russian level, when you are on the boat, and when you get off the guy gives you nothing but 5 bullets and no gun.

Yes that was in the first COD game on PC. You were a russian and were on a boat. Then you were pushed through the gun line and weren't given a gun so you had to run from cover to cover until another soldier gave you a sniper rifle.

You were a Russian on a boat in COD Finest hour. In the first COD you were an American solider going through training and then jumping out of a plane above France to take part in battle of Normandy.[QUOTE="duvalbosnian"]i played the first one yes the one that was on the ps2PlasmaBeam44

YEah I am sure that you did that in the first call of duty on pc
I've played COD, UO, Finest Hour, and COD4. I loved the SP of the original at the time, but I couldn't stand the multiplayer. I thought UO improved upon the MP, but the SP lacked a bit. Finest Hour was forgettable, but I think COD4 nailed it in both the SP and the MP.
Finest Hour was pretty much garbage, and yeah, CoD4 was the best overall CoD due to the best SP in the series and the most accessible and well structured MPI've played COD, UO, Finest Hour, and COD4. Yes, i enjoyed 1 & 2 on PC way much more than 3,4 & 5 on xbox.
And inifinity ward makes the game way much better than treyarch, thats why IMO 3 sucked
The online is unbeatable on 1 & 2 PC =)
