Concerning mass effect 1, is any of the dlc worth it. I don't know of any complete edition on 360 for mass 2 and I don't have that much money. I can't afford all of this dlc

All of the ME1 DLC is pretty bad, I would just skip it all together. I played a character in ME1 all the way to 60 and I can honestly say just skip the DLC.

I concur. I played some of the Mass Effect 1 DLC, and it consists of a few forgettable side-missions. Only worth getting if you're a massive fan of the game.

What about mass 2?

Mass Effect 2's dlc was better but still not excellent. Lair of the Shadow Broker was good. Overlord was okay. The Zaeed and Kasumi dlc aren't really that good, but Zaeed as well as some other dlc comes with Mass Effect 2 for free so long as you buy new. I haven't played Arrival yet but I hear it's not too good. The weapons and armor dlc are a waste.

Bringing Down the Sky DLC for ME 1 was decent, but not great. Pinnacle station is really bad. Bioware is not that great at DLC. So, I'd wait to see if you can get it cheap or on sale.

None of Mass Effect's dlc is great, but the second does have the better extras.

The Arrival is probably the best one.

I think that the Platinum Hits version of ME has the two DLCs with it. Not 100 percent sure as it's been a while since I have seen it.

haha, you mean Lair of the shadow broker? Yeah that one was good, I got it during a sale along with Katsumi's dlc, and it was worth it, but you really don't need the weapons and armor packs.

None of the DLC for Mass Effect 1 is essential to the story.

The most important DLC for the Mass Effect series is The Arrival, followed by Lair of the Shadow Broker, both for Mass Effect 2. The Arrival provides the point where Mass Effect 3 leaves off from Mass Effect 2. Lair of the Shadow Broker is second in importance, as it contains a link to the continuing story in Mass Effect 3.

To me the Mass Effect series and its DLC is a perfect example of what DLC really is. A sniff of the original effort to squeeze as much as they can out of the demand for the game.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Mass Effect, and it has a huge (well-deserved) following.

The problem is that the demand for the game quickly degrades simply because of the fact that the majority of the fan base usually buys the game early and the sales seem to slip fairly quickly. This may be one of the causes for fast price drops to try and keep the quantity demanded at higher levels.

With that thinking, it could be infered that the DLC is fairly rushed just simply to catch the demand wave...who knows though.
