I've bought 'Splosion Man, Ninja Turtles, and will be buying Trials HD tomorrow when it gets released. I've also considered buying a couple of the $20 games on the GoD. The prices just seem inconsistent with each other, some of the games that cost $30 seem like they should be the $20 games...and some of the $20 games seem like they should be under the $30 price tag.
CoD2 is the biggest ripoff of them all. it's $12.99 at Gamestop. I'd get Mass Effect & BF:BC.I wouldnt buy a game of GoD unless it was significantly cheaper than a physical copy, I dont see the point.

yeah, here in england, all the games are priced at £19.99 on the GoD, i could just go to asda and get mass effect for £7.99!

No, but you can lend them your hard drive.
Most people who buy these games aren't concerned with letting their friends borrow a game. I haven't got any and I probably won't unless if there's a sale, I'd rather own a digital copy so I'd prefer buying from Games on Demand rather than from the store, but I wouldn't ever pay more just to do that. If I can go get Perfect Dark and Kameo for $5 each, I would never pay $20 for a digital copy. Things that are more reasonable like Mass Effect is closer to the right price, I'd consider it, but I'd always choose the way that saves me money if its $5 or more.
I own a lot of arcade games though 20+. my most recent purchases have been Battlefield 1942. Marvel vs Capcom 2, Turtles in Time, and I'll be buying many more in the future.
The question I have is, when playing the XBOX Originals on Games on Demand, do you still get signed out of live?
I actually went to Gamestop while I was out today so I could check the prices for Assassin's creed and a couple of other games. At Gamestop Assassin's Creed was only $19.99, Prey was $15.99, Call of Duty 2 GoTY was only $12.99, and Bioshock was only $17.99. The biggest ripoff to me is CoD 2, they still want $29.99+tax on XBL. You can go out and buy a used copy of CoD 4 for $40, $45 at the most.
Some of the GoD that are $19.99 aren't that far off of the used game price point at Gamestop so I wouldn't mind having a digital copy of those. I'm not really concerned with having a hard copy of the game, I doubt Microsoft is going under any time soon.
Nope, and I don't plan to either. I don't have enough harddrive space and I prefer to have hard copies of games.
i got oblivion and i plan on gettin many more (specific games that i know ill come back to again and again)
and i got turtles in time: reshelled
today that is
